Domingo Gigante de Rock — A Season-Opening Night to Remember
There's something about a Sunday evening in Sayulita when the high season is just beginning to stir — the air warm, the palms swaying, old friends back in town and new ones arriving every day. November 9th, 2025 caught all of that and turned it into something unforgettable.
Rancho Poco a Poco hosted Domingo Gigante de Rock — a community season-opener that brought together three incredible bands, a sold-out crowd of locals and visitors, kids dancing in the front row, and the kind of collective joy that only live music under open skies can produce. It was exactly what Sayulita needed as the season kicked into gear.
The Lineup
The Conductors — Sayulita's Own Family Rock Band
The Conductors opened the night and immediately set the tone: high energy, high fun, and completely irresistible. A family band rooted right here in Sayulita, The Conductors have built a following in the community that shows up for them every time — and this night was no exception. Their set was a reminder that some of the best rock and roll comes from people who are playing for pure love of it. Kids packed the front, parents danced behind them, and the whole thing felt like exactly the kind of event this estate was built for. Listen on Spotify →
Los Gatos Negros de Sayulita
Los Gatos Negros de Sayulita took the stage mid-evening and delivered exactly what their loyal fans came for — that signature blend of oldies warmth and punk electricity that has made them one of the most beloved live acts on the Riviera Nayarit. Every time they play the estate, it feels like a homecoming. Listen on Spotify →
Mexican Juligans — Headlining from Mexico City
The headliners were Mexican Juligans, making the journey from Mexico City to bring their wild, genre-defying energy to Sayulita. Part mariachi, part punk, part rock and roll carnival — Mexican Juligans are genuinely difficult to describe and completely impossible to ignore. Their name says it all: Mexican hooligan energy fused with the soul of traditional Mexican music. The crowd lost it, and deservedly so. This was the kind of headlining set that people talk about for seasons. Listen on Spotify →
Cachasol Tequila — A Local Sponsor Worth Celebrating
The night was proudly sponsored by Cachasol Tequila — one of the most exciting spirits stories in the Riviera Nayarit right now. Based just minutes from Sayulita along the Punta Mita highway, Cachasol is a 6-acre coastal farm distillery crafting small-batch tequilas and raicillas using agave sourced from Nayarit's own hills. What makes them truly unique is their IPA-inspired fermentation process, unlocking vibrant citrus and floral notes that most tequilas never achieve — all additive-free, all deeply rooted in the land they call home.
Cachasol was recently named Best Small-Batch Tequila by Men's Journal 2026, and even appeared on Bravo's Southern Charm — but what matters most is that they're local, committed to Nayarit's terroir, and make something genuinely special. Having them as a sponsor felt completely right. Roy crafted cocktails with their spirits throughout the evening, and the crowd was treated to an unforgettable liquid experience alongside the music.

All Ages, All Heart
One of the things that made this night stand out was the crowd it drew. Kids 12 and under got in free, and the result was a multigenerational audience that felt genuinely like the Sayulita community at its best — families, expats, locals, visitors, grandparents and toddlers all sharing the same dance floor. That's the kind of event that makes this place special, and it's the kind of event Rancho Poco a Poco was built to host.
The estate's one-acre grounds, professional stage setup, and open-air layout made for a concert experience that felt world-class while staying completely rooted in Sayulita's easygoing soul. As the article in El Sayulero put it ahead of the show: "come celebrate with friends, family, and neighbors for an unforgettable night of rock, food, drinks, and pure Sayulita energy."
That's exactly what it was.
